چکیده
This paper investigates a global stabilization problem and a nonlinear H∞ control problem for a class of nonminimum phase nonlinear multivariable systems. To avoid the complicated recursive design procedure, an asymptotic time-scale and eigenstructure assignment method is adopted to construct the control laws for the stabilization problem and the nonlinear H∞ control problem. A sufficient solvability condition is established on the unstable zero dynamics of the system for global stabilization problem and nonlinear H∞ control problem, respectively. Moreover, based on the sufficient solvability condition, an upper bound of the achievable L2-gain is estimated for the nonlinear H∞ control problem. Copyright q 2007 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.

Optimal Control of Nonlinear Multivariable Systems
This paper concerns a study on the optimal control for nonlinear systems. An appropriate alternative in order to alleviate the nonlinearity of a system is the exact linearization approach. In this fashion, the nonlinear system has been linearized using input-output feedback linearization (IOFL). Then, by utilizing the well developed optimal control theory of linear systems, the compensated ...
متن کاملGlobal Stabilization of Attitude Dynamics: SDRE-based Control Laws
The State-Dependant Riccati Equation method has been frequently used to design suboptimal controllers applied to nonlinear dynamic systems. Different methods for local stability analysis of SDRE controlled systems of order greater than two such as the attitude dynamics of a general rigid body have been extended in literature; however, it is still difficult to show global stability properties of...
متن کاملPassivity-Based Stability Analysis and Robust Practical Stabilization of Nonlinear Affine Systems with Non-vanishing Perturbations
This paper presents some analyses about the robust practical stability of a class of nonlinear affine systems in the presence of non-vanishing perturbations based on the passivity concept. The given analyses confirm the robust passivity property of the perturbed nonlinear systems in a certain region. Moreover, robust control laws are designed to guarantee the practical stability of the perturbe...
متن کاملLocal stabilization for a class of nonlinear impulsive switched system with non-vanishing uncertainties under a norm-bounded control input
Stability and stabilization of impulsive switched system have been considered in recent decades, but there are some issues that are not yet fully addressed such as actuator saturation. This paper deals with expo-nential stabilization for a class of nonlinear impulsive switched systems with different types of non-vanishing uncertainties under the norm-bounded control input. Due to the constraine...
متن کاملNonlinear Feedback Stabilization On
In this paper, some results of feedback stabilization on compacta for a nonlinear control system are obtained by using an invariant manifold approach. In particular, a class of globally nonminimum phase systems are treated. Issues such as high gain feedback stabilization on compacta vs. peaking phenomenon, and globally exponentially minimum phase vs. globally asymptotically (critically) minimum...
